Here's a brief profile of the bands on SIZE 12 RECORDS:

MADNESS

First band on the label are those Camden Nutty Boys MADNESS.

Starting as one of the leading 2-Tone Ska bands in the late 1970's Madness went on to forge a career from well crafted pop songs which saw the band spend over 214 weeks in the UK singles chart from 1980-86.

Their videos set the standard for the format. Being more of a mini sit-com / film than just a band miming to a track, it was always just as exciting to wait for the video release as it was the record!

Not many bands can claim to have a truly UNIQUE sound. However, Madness are easily spotted from the opening bars of their songs. Not only are they great songwriters but the 7 band members create a feel and a sound that has since influenced many others.

With many many hits under their collective belts and some of the most successful reunion concerts of modern times (see Madstock), the band continue to thrive having recently released the critically acclaimed full length studio album "The Liberty Of Norton Folgate".
